Kenny Gino and Big Mike both started playing records in the late 70’s/early 80’s, digging in the crates and exploring the musical taste of their parents’ R&B, soul, and funk collections. And both quickly developed the unique ability to program music to move the dance floor’s of the underground “red light” basement parties popular in the inner city neighborhoods of Racine, Wisconsin – a small working class city about an hour north of Chicago. And at the time, neither had any idea how their close proximity to the Windy City would effect and contribute to their futures.
